Mrs. Garringer's 5th Grade Class

Hello! I'm Amanda Garringer and this is my 13th year as a teacher at Bryant. While a Bulldog I have taught 2nd, 4th, and currently 5th. Prior to Bryant I taught in Lexington as a 3rd grade teacher for a year. I have enjoyed my experiences in all grade levels! I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Master's degree in grades 3-5 Curriculum & Instruction from UNK. 

 

I have lived in Kearney my entire life and love this community. My husband, Luke, is the P.E. teacher at Bryant and Central. We have 3 children, Addison, Noah, Mason, and our Boston Terrier dog, Roxy, whom we absolutely adore! As a family we enjoy playing games, sports, really everything outdoors and spending time with our extended family. I personally like to spend my time running, doing yoga, wandering Target, reading and drinking coffee. 

 

I absolutely love teaching, reading and math are some of my favorite subjects to share and explore with students. I'm looking forward to another great year as a Bulldog!
