Hello! I'm Emily Watts and I am currently one of the 2nd Grade Teachers at Bryant Elementary. I have been teaching at Bryant since 2013, and teaching 2nd grade since 2016.  I have also taught kindergarten, 2nd grade and special education outside of Kearney Public Schools.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2006.  Since then, I have taken some masters classes in special education and some curriculum and instruction through the Nebraska University system as well.  

 

I grew up on a farm about an hour East of here with my parents and two brothers.  Currently, I live in Kearney with my husband, four children and our dog.  I love all things outdoors: camping, biking, hiking, and football!
